Discover the northern part of Cyprus! First we drive to the eastern side, stopping at Famagusta, also known as the ‘Ghost Town’ since the Turkish invasion in 1974. Free time will be given to browse in the old town within the Venetian Walls.
Our next stop is Bellapais Abbey, built in the 13th century AD by the Augustinian monks also known as the Order of Saint Norbert.
The abbey is a fine example of gothic architecture – with breathtaking views of the northern coast of Kyrenia. We continue to the town of Kyrenia with free time for lunch (not included price), shopping and a stroll around the town. You can also visit the picturesque harbour and the Castle of Kyrenia, which hosts the remains of one of the oldest shipwrecks in the world.
MEALS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
